Eachanari Vinayagar Temple

Eachanari Vinayagar Temple is one of the most celebrated Ganesha temples in Tamil Nadu, located about 9 km from Coimbatore on the road towards Palakkad. The temple is believed to be around 1,500 years old and houses a magnificent six-foot tall idol of Lord Vinayagar that draws thousands of devotees daily. The temple follows typical Dravidian architectural style with a prominent gopuram and well-maintained surroundings. It is particularly thronged during Ganesh Chaturthi, Basant Panchami, and Tamil New Year. Pilgrims travelling on the Coimbatore to Palakkad route traditionally stop here for darshan.
