Mantri Haveli

One of the oldest havelis in Churu, built in the 18th century and entirely covered with traditional Rajput paintings inside and out.

Mantri Haveli is among the oldest surviving mansions in Churu, constructed in the 18th century by the Mantri merchant family. Unlike many havelis that reserve decorative painting for their facades, Mantri Haveli is covered with paintings on virtually every surface, including inner courtyard walls, ceilings, and corridors. The murals reflect the aesthetic vocabulary of the early Shekhawati school, with mythological narratives and court scenes rendered in earthy pigments. It is a quieter, less-visited stop on the haveli trail and valued for its age and completeness.
