Malji Ka Kamra

A century-old turquoise-and-ivory heritage haveli blending Italian Art Deco and Rajput architecture, now restored as a boutique hotel.

Malji Ka Kamra is one of Churu's most celebrated buildings, a distinctive haveli built around 1925 by the prosperous merchant Malchand Kothari. Its striking turquoise and ivory facade is covered in ornate stucco work, setting it apart from the ochre and sandstone tones typical of Shekhawati. The interiors reveal a rare architectural fusion of Italian Art Deco columns, Mughal archways, and Rajput fresco-painted ceilings. Restored as a heritage hotel, it serves as an ideal base for exploring the Churu haveli circuit and the wider Shekhawati region.
