Chitradhara Waterfall

Chitradhara Waterfall is a modest cascade near Potanar village, sitting along the route most visitors take between Jagdalpur and Chitrakoot Falls. The waterfall picks up considerably more force during the monsoon, when the surrounding forest turns lush and green. Its easy roadside access and shaded surroundings make it a favoured picnic spot for families travelling through the area, without requiring the longer detour that some of Bastar's other waterfalls demand. The setting is quieter and less crowded than Chitrakoot itself.
