The exterior is a major photo stop on heritage circuits, though interior access usually needs prior permission. Around it, A.R. Street and nearby lanes hold many more Chettiar mansions within walking distance. Use it as the orientation landmark before visiting open mansions such as Athangudi Palace or Chettinadu Mansion.
