Japanese Garden in Sector 31, added in 2014, spans 13 acres and is designed to evoke the principles of Japanese garden culture: harmony, balance and the coexistence of the natural and man-made. Key features include a pagoda tower, meditation hut, seated Buddha statues, a Zen garden with raked gravel, a small pond with decorative features and walking paths through varied plantings. It provides a quieter, more contemplative garden experience compared to the busier parks in Chandigarh.
