Cactus Garden, formally the National Cactus and Succulent Botanical Garden and Research Centre, in Panchkula is Asia's largest cactus collection, established in 1987. Spread across 7 acres, it showcases over 3,500 species and varieties of cacti and succulents from arid zones around the world, arranged on 25 raised landscaped mounds with three water bodies. Towering saguaro cacti, twisted columnars, low spreading ground covers and rare flowering species create an otherworldly landscape unlike anything else in the region.
