Sadar Bazar

Sadar Bazar is Chanderi's principal shopping street, reached through the Delhi Darwaza, one of the town's old fortification gateways. Saree and textile shops line the lane alongside general stores selling everyday goods, giving visitors both a practical market and a sense of the town's layered history built into its gates and old buildings. It works well as a stop for picking up Chanderi silk directly from local traders rather than dedicated tourist emporiums.
