Pranpur Weavers Village

Pranpur lies about four kilometers from Chanderi and has been developed as India's first dedicated craft handloom tourism village, built around its community of saree weavers. Houses painted with patterns echoing the fabric's own motifs line the village streets, and guided heritage walks let visitors watch weavers at work on traditional looms while hearing the stories behind each design. Three restored stepwells in the village add a further layer of heritage to a visit centered mainly on textile craft.
