Taragarh Fort rises above Bundi from a 1354 foundation, its ramparts tracing the hilltop above the town's blue houses. Much of the interior sits overgrown and in disrepair, but the climb rewards visitors with sweeping views over Nawal Sagar Lake and the Aravalli hills beyond. The fort shares a combined entry ticket with Garh Palace below it, and the walk between the two forms the spine of most Bundi sightseeing.
