Built in 1699 by Rani Nathavati Ji, Raniji ki Baori descends 46 metres through a multi storied shaft lined with carved pillars, including elephants shown mid drink at the entrance gate. Known as the Queen's Stepwell, it stands as the most photographed of Bundi's more than fifty stepwells thanks to its high arched gateway and depth of decorative detail throughout. Entry is included in the combined heritage ticket.
