Nagar Sagar Kund

Twin 19th century stepwells near Chauhan Gate, built to guard against famine.

Constructed between 1871 and 1875 by Maharani Chandrabhanu Kumari, Nagar Sagar Kund comprises two adjoining stepwells originally named Ganga Sagar and Yamuna Sagar. Positioned just outside Chauhan Gate along Bundi's main market street, they were built specifically to secure water supply during famine years and remain a convenient stop on foot between Raniji ki Baori and the old town bar area.
