Shiv Bari Temple in Bikaner is a beautiful 19th-century Shiva temple set within a large garden (bari means garden). Built by Maharaja Doongar Singh of Bikaner around 1883, the temple houses a large bronze Nandi (Shiva's bull) and a sacred Shivalinga. The garden setting with its trees, paths, and peaceful surroundings makes it a popular spot for both prayer and leisure. The temple is particularly lively during Mahashivaratri and the Shravan month when devotees throng in large numbers to offer milk and water to the Shivalinga.
