Rampuria Haveli

Rampuria Haveli is one of the most impressive havelis (mansions) in the old city of Bikaner, belonging to the wealthy Rampuria merchant family. The haveli features intricate latticed sandstone screens (jharokhas), elaborate carved facades, and distinctive Bikaner-style architecture that blends Rajput and Mughal decorative traditions. The Rampuria family were prominent traders during the 18th and 19th centuries and their haveli reflects their prosperity and artistic patronage. The narrow lanes of old Bikaner around the haveli are lined with similar historic merchant houses, making the area one of the best examples of a preserved haveli precinct in Rajasthan.
