Laxmi Niwas Palace is part of the Lalgarh Palace complex, built between 1902 and 1926 for Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner. It was designed by the British architect Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob in the Indo-Saracenic style, with carved red sandstone from Dulmera, pierced jali screens, domed kiosks and wide lawns. The wing is now a luxury heritage hotel, and its public rooms, courtyards and restaurant can be seen by booking a meal or a stay. The Sadul Singh Museum in the neighbouring Lalgarh wing is open to all visitors.
