Founded in 2016, the centre's eight-acre campus houses four gallery spaces documenting and displaying the embroidery traditions of Kutch's women artisan communities, a crafts school and residential accommodation for trainees. Shrujan's network covers over 3,500 craftswomen from 22 villages practising traditional embroideries including Rabari, Ahir, Mutwa and Sodha styles. The galleries offer some of the most curated and context-rich craft viewing in India.
