Veera Narayana Temple is the smaller Vishnu shrine on the west side of the Belur temple complex. Raised on a classic Hoysala platform, it holds a garbhagriha, sukanasi, and navaranga hall with outer walls carved with Brahma, Shiva, Parvati, and related forms. It is quieter than the main Chennakeshava shrine and useful if you want another close look at soapstone detail without the densest crowds. Combine it with Kappe Chennigaraya on a full walk of the enclosed courtyard.
