Ganesh Gufa

Cave 100 metres below Vyas Gufa in Mana where Lord Ganesha is believed to have transcribed the Mahabharata as Vyasa dictated it.

Ganesh Gufa lies just below Vyas Gufa in Mana Village, connected by the same mythological narrative: as Vyasa dictated the Mahabharata, Lord Ganesha sat in this cave and transcribed every verse. According to the legend, when the roaring Saraswati River disturbed Ganesha's concentration, he cursed the river to flow underground, which is why the Saraswati disappears after Mana. A small idol of Lord Ganesha is installed inside the compact, quiet cave. The site has a meditative stillness and is typically less crowded than Vyas Gufa, making it ideal for quiet reflection.
