Himroo Factory in Aurangabad is one of the last remaining working establishments producing Himroo, a distinctive handwoven fabric of silk and cotton that was a luxury textile of the Mughal court. Visitors can watch weavers at their traditional looms creating the characteristic geometric and floral patterns, gaining direct insight into a craft that has been practised in the city for centuries. Himroo shawls, sarees and fabric lengths are available for purchase directly from the factory.
