Gorson Bugyal, also spelled Gurso Bugyal, is a rolling high meadow about 3 km from Auli through oak and rhododendron. In summer the grass is green and flowered. In winter the same slopes hold snow and are used for skiing. The walk starts near the ropeway top and is the usual first day's outing if you stay in Auli. Clear weather opens a long view of Nanda Devi, Kamet, and Mana.
