Auli Ski Slopes

India's best-known Himalayan ski slopes around the GMVN resort, with lifts, hire, and beginner to intermediate runs.

The Auli ski slopes sit on an open ridge at about 2,500 to 3,000 metres, facing the Nanda Devi massif. GMVN and private ski schools run hire, instruction, and a chairlift or surface lift through the January to March season. You can stay in Auli beside the slopes or ride the ropeway up from Joshimath for a day on snow. Outside winter the same grass is used for walks toward the lake and Gorson Bugyal.
