Araku Valley Train Journey

The train journey to Araku Valley on the Kothavalasa-Kirandul line is considered one of the most scenic rail routes in South India, passing through 46 tunnels and multiple bridges as it climbs into the Eastern Ghats. Dense forest, hillsides, and streams running alongside the track make the ride itself a highlight rather than simply transport. Most visitors are advised to travel up by train and return by road to experience both the scenery and convenience.
