Anandpur Sahib Sarovar

The Sarovar at Anandpur Sahib sits directly beside Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib and forms an essential part of most pilgrims' visit to the town. Covering roughly eighty square metres, the tank draws a steady flow of visitors who come for a ritual dip believed to cleanse and purify. Its position beside the main Takht makes it easy to combine with darshan at the gurudwara, and the calm water offers a moment of stillness amid the otherwise busy pilgrim traffic that moves through this part of the town daily.
