Chatri Talao

Historic 1888 lake in Amravati formed from a small spring, popular for boating and evening walks.

Chatri Talao traces its origins to 1888, when it grew from a modest spring known locally as Kali Nadi into the sizeable lake seen today. Its garden setting and boating facilities have made it a long standing favourite for evening walks among Amravati residents, particularly as the light softens toward dusk. The lake sits close to several of the city's other attractions, including Adaneshwar Mandir and Satidham Temple, making it easy to combine with a broader walking route through this part of the city.
