Mansarovar Kund

A rectangular stepped holy tank near the main temple, flanked by shrines to Mahadev and Ajay Devi.

Mansarovar Kund is a large rectangular tank with stairs on all four sides, located a short walk from the main Ambaji temple. Built between 1584 and 1594 by a devotee of Ambaji, it sits alongside smaller temples dedicated to Mahadev and to Ajay Devi, Goddess Amba's sister. Pilgrims bathe in its waters as part of their visit, and old inscriptions carved into nearby stones add a layer of history to what remains a quiet, everyday gathering spot for the town.
