The Kasar Kitchen is one of the better known places in the Almora region for Kumaoni cooking. The signature order is the Kumaoni thali, which comes with salad, a local dessert and bhang chutney, giving a spread of traditional flavours. Mutton momos and fresh orange juice are also popular choices. The outdoor seating faces the Himalayan ranges, making it a pleasant spot for a long lunch in winter sun or a quiet dinner.
