Lalu Mohanta And Son’s is an old sweet shop near Alipurduar Chowpathy, known across the district. It sells rasgulla, gulab jamun and jalebi, and jhuri and bundia are the local favourites. Samosa, kachori and tea are popular for a quick snack at a low price, and the shop is a short walk from New Alipurduar Station. Parking is limited, especially during office hours. It is open daily from 6 AM to 9 PM.
