Malola Narasimha Temple

Malola Narasimha Temple lies close to the main shrine at Upper Ahobilam and represents the softer, benevolent side of the deity, shown here together with Goddess Lakshmi. The temple's setting among wooded hills gives it a calmer atmosphere than some of the more remote Narasimha shrines. Its relative proximity to the main Ahobila Narasimha temple makes it one of the easier stops on the nine temple circuit. Pilgrims often visit this shrine early in their trek before continuing toward the more demanding sites further into the hills.
