The SARAS Aajeevika Mela is a national fair organised by the Ministry of Rural Development under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY NRLM). Women entrepreneurs from self help groups across India sell their handlooms, handicrafts and food products directly to visitors.
The 2026 Gurugram edition runs from 22 October to 6 November at Leisure Valley Park in Sector 29. Expect hundreds of stalls arranged by state, with silk and cotton saris, bamboo and cane craft, pottery, jewellery, pickles and spices, along with a food court serving regional dishes and folk performances in the evenings. The dates fall in the Diwali shopping season, which makes it a good place to buy gifts.
Entry is free. Leisure Valley Park is a short walk from the IFFCO Chowk metro station on the Yellow Line, and weekday afternoons are quieter than weekend evenings.
