Hot Air Balloon Festival

The Hot Air Balloon Festival in Hyderabad is a three-day aerial tourism event held from January 16 to 18, 2026, as part of the city’s Sankranti celebrations.

Organised by the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation (TGTDC), the festival features around 15 internationally certified hot air balloons flown by experienced pilots from abroad.

Morning balloon rides take place from selected outskirts of Hyderabad, offering 30–40 minute flights over scenic landscapes, while evenings host spectacular Night Glow Balloon Shows at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad, where illuminated balloons create a vibrant visual display. The festival aims to boost tourism and add a unique sky-high experience to Hyderabad’s festive calendar.
