Chaitra Navratri

Chaitra Navratri is a significant Hindu festival celebrated at the beginning of the Hindu New Year, usually in March–April.

Spanning nine days, it is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga and her nine divine forms, known as the Navadurga. The festival symbolizes the victory of good over evil and marks a period of spiritual renewal, devotion, and self-discipline.

Devotees observe fasting, offer prayers, and perform daily rituals at home and in temples.

The festival concludes with Ram Navami, celebrating the birth of Lord Rama. Chaitra Navratri holds special importance in northern India and is observed with simplicity, devotion, and spiritual focus.
